According to Togbui Fiti V, the Chiefs, elders and people of Aflao and the Anlo State have all been blinded by the death of Komla Dumor who served as the eye and a shining start of the land.
Togbui Fiti made these solemn statement the mortal remains of late BBC Ghanaian Journalist, Komla Dumor, was received home last night at the Kotoka International Airport.
His remains was brought aboard a British Airways flight at 8:45pm to a well-organized solemn ceremony.
Hundreds of friends, family, colleagues, and sympathizers who awaited his arrival sung dirges and shed tears as they saw their beloved Komla’s body lowered from the Aircraft.
Traditional chiefs and people from the Aflao Traditional area, led by Togbui Zetor, performed the traditional rites to bid him farewell.
Komla Dumor’s wife, Kwansema and children accompanying the body from London, all dressed in black, as usual, expressing they have indeed lost a dear one.
According to the family the full final funeral rites and burial will be announced soon as the remains has since been sent to the Lashibi Funeral Home.
The event was also graced by several government officials, and media professionals.
